Munchen - Venedig

            3 countries,  3 olympic citys, crossing The Alps, 

                               Germany - Austria - Italy

                  Following Fernradweg Munchen - Venezia.

Along the river Isar.  All the way through Oberbayern to the Alps.

The train at Achenseebahn.    I saw it from a distance and did not reach to take a foto,

so this foto is from internet.

Closed for today and tomorrow.....    Along the old railwayline/bikeway.    There are new lines with  heavy traffic at the other side of the valley.   

The bikeway down from Brenner.     The highway and railways at the other side of the valley is very much trafficed.    But the bikeway is only for bicycling and walking.

A fine day in South-Tirol

With illuminated tunnels

Bridge over a deep gorge.
Just keep the bike rolling over.

Don't look down i you are afraid of heights.    But you have to cycle over the bridge.

The bikeway, Dolomittenbahn, is going through a national park with amazing nature.

Not along the road.    The best part of my trip.
