7 Roundtrip. The Oslo fjord. 2 days.

  One black sheep between the white lambs... .. Crossing the highway between Oslo and Drammen.    The Drammen river Under the highwaybridge in Drammen.   We bicyclists often see things from in a different way. Sande river The old road to Southern Norway.   I have spend much time in the traffic here, - by car..... I reached Sandefjord a bit earlyer then planned.  In the raining wather one is not so tempted to take breaks and rest in the grass. Færder lighthouse.    Seen from the ferry between Sandefjord and Strømstad in Sweeden. A branche of river Glomma. Summer 1984, a friend and I got a stop here because of lack of gasoline in an Opel. Then I was serving in a military regiment in Fredrikstad. In Moss.    Helly-Hansen got a tower build in Moss.    In this building, the union with Sweden was signed in 1814. A paper factory in Moss.    I made the "Moss-smelling" for many years. Passing Son. I bought a hevy box...

8 Mjøsa rundt. Around Mjøsa, the bigest lake of Norway, 246 km

  Following the track Mjøstråkk.  Except between Lillehammer and Brumunddal where I went higher up. I parked my car and started by Minnesund.  The southern end of lake Mjøsa.   Started 04:30 o clock.   Biked then up to Skrerifjella and over the Toten hills.  All along at small and narrow roads. I met 2 beavers, one fox and some big birds in the forests.   A lot of animals an early morning. Ups, wrong turn.    It was a lot of small rooud and much navigating over Totenåsen/ Toten hills. It tok 3 houers the first 30 km.      The sign:  Danger, gunfire.     The Royal Guard got an exercicing field up there. Some south-american animals.    At the abandoned railway Skreia railway.      Kraby station was a small arcitehture pear.   But the bicycletrack at the old railway was muddy and bad. To avoid the road nr 33 with much traffic along the lake I biked over the hil...

9 Oslo - Sweden - Oslo. One day.

Ready for departure. Passing river Leira. Fetsund bridge.   Crossing Glomma, the longestmost river of Norway. In Aurskog.  A factory producing small electrical cars, and plastic boats. Between Lierskog and Mangen.   500 foots over sea level. At Southern Mangen. Lake Mangen. The country road along lake Mangen. Passing the border to Sweden.   No controlpost, gate or fence.   Just a sign. Norwegian, swedish and danish is really the same language, or very simular, but I did not understand this signtext. The Skillingsmark lake.    A lot of frogs were "singing".    I tok a rest and then turned back for Norway.
